The Cult of I-Don’t-Know

Today I feel like addressing a certain group, a group I have given the moniker of, “the cult of I-don’t-know.” This class of people chooses to resign themselves to a state of ignorance about the nature of reality so as to justify their overindulgent, or otherwise flawed lifestyle. One can recognize these individuals by the platitudes they do so relish the opportunity to expound, such as: “I’m only human,” or “there’s so many religions out there, how can anyone know which is correct,” and, my personal favorite, “If there’s a God, there’s no way he knows or cares about us.” All of these share a common spirit of deliberate disregard for the observations all mankind cannot help but make. Firstly, nothing can make itself, and yet here we are in the middle of a world rife with intelligent, complex, and superfluously beautiful creatures. Secondly, there’s clearly a law mankind is meant to observe that is written on our hearts, our conscience acting as the “moral barometer,” to borrow from my man Steve Harvey. Also, simply because there’s lots of cosmologies, it doesn’t follow that they’re equal in truth content, that’s like me asking, “what is one plus one?” and you responding with, “since there’s lots of potential answers to your question there’s no way I can answer you.” Aside from their refusal to acknowledge these basic truths, IDK cultists can also be recognized by how they conduct themselves. For example, if you hear someone whose speech is riddled with unnecessary curse words and utterly bereft of sincerity, with them needing to compulsively make a joke out of everything they say, you’ve probably found one. People who inhabit this caste also feel the insatiable urge to drink alcohol and masturbate, to “take the edge off,” this being a nice way of saying that they can’t handle living life without being numb to everything around them. While we’re on the topic of fiendish pleasure seeking, these people’s hearts and eyes exist only to exercise their covetousness, there’s always some new thing that they must acquire, with the concept of contentment being some obscure myth to them. Also, the cultists are excellent at neglecting or verbally abusing their ‘loved’ ones (they don’t know what love is, maybe a chemical in their brain or something). If they marry it can only take place after fornicating, which becomes their only source of intimacy which inevitably fades as they age, so, once they’ve made sure that their offspring are adjusted to their being together, they get divorced (this is more of a rite of passage than a tragedy in their culture). In general, the cult seeks to become as materially rich and as spiritually bankrupt as possible. All of this being said, the cult isn’t evil, it’s fallen and weak. The source of this weakness lies in their worship of ignorance instead of God. All these people need to do to live fulfilled lives is ask themselves some hard questions, and become interested in learning the true answers. For starters, ask yourself if you think consciousness itself can come from something that lacks a consciousness. Then ask whether all of your personality, ideation, creativity, inspiration, memory and cognition can realistically reside within the meat of your head alone (hint, you are partially immaterial). Finally, and most importantly, if God isn’t interested in how you conduct yourself, why is your conscience being seared with a hot iron?

The Greatest Good for Mankind

What is the meaning of life? Truly, answer my question reader, what is the answer to all of this? What is the greatest good for mankind? What is the explanation you would give to a child who asked you any one of these foundational questions? How did you react to this confrontation? The problem is that one’s answer can have serious consequences not only for themselves, but the entire world. Just think about it, imagine being a child and wanting to know the why of it all, the answer you receive from your most reliable authority figures will undoubtedly have a lasting effect on how you make decisions throughout the rest of your life. In fact, all anyone has to do is look at your life, how you talk, how you carry yourself, how you eat, how you dress, how you make your decisions, in order to get a sense of your worldview. Now apply this principle to an entire nation, and realize how influential belief truly is. We are talking about the pre-suppositions one relegates to whenever they are faced with a choice, the core mandates that inform all of our actions. In a word, your answer was probably mediocre and unsatisfactory. I’m being blunt because it’s these lukewarm answers that have brought forth the moral and spiritual problems we’re faced with today, especially in the West. I’ve asked you for your answer and without even knowing what it was I deemed it worthless, and evidence of the spiritual sickness of Western nations. You showed me yours, I’ll show you mine. God made you. The omnipotent one who inhabits eternity consciously and intentionally put you where you are now. He has carried you through your entire life, not only you, but all of your ancestors to. All cause and effect are ordained and foreknown by him, to bring about the plan he’s had since before the heavens and the earth were formed. You are a part of that plan. You are here to do his will. You are free to do this either willingly and live, or defect to live a life of pain and suffering, then die knowing your actions were turned to the furtherance of his purpose anyway. Finally, and most importantly, God sent his Son into the world as a reconciling sacrifice for the sins of all who would believe in him. God loves you. Notice I’m telling you why you’re here, what you’re supposed to do, and why you’re supposed to do it. My answer ascribes significance to your thoughts, speech and deeds, and implores you to make them good. Regardless of how you like my correct answer, at least in mine you matter. If you don’t like being told the truth, what would you prefer the truth to be? Would you rather that you and your actions here were worthless? Does possessing such a world view make you feel better about yourself because in yours there’s no such thing as sin? Or maybe you would rather envision God as a tyrant simply because evil exists, in intentional disregard for all of the good experiences you’ve had. Again I’m speculating, but hey, I could be right. Either way, the overarching point here is that the lens through which you view the world affects how you operate here, the way you affect the world reflects how you view the world. Further, if you were told your life has meaning you will act like it, and if you were told that your life is a product of random chance then you’ll embody that worldview as well, the third option being “I don’t know”, which will result in a non-committal and compromising disposition. One’s morality is a result of these presuppositions, with those who believe in God having a coherent explanation for why the natural order is, and is to be adhered to, with those who don’t rejecting the existence of a natural order entirely, deeming morality itself to be subjective. On this note, with a flawed morality comes flawed priorities. Meaning, without a God centered life the greatest good for mankind becomes power or pleasure, which induces men to throw away whole decades doing what they’re not supposed to, erroneously believing fulfilment is to be found in the material plane. I write these words to intentionally shock you into realizing that the greatest good for mankind is not possession or power, but it’s a relationship with God that gives a man fulfilment in life, and not only fulfilment, but direction and purpose.

Psyop Season

I’ve just finished watching Owen’s Friday Gravy Den stream and found something worth writing about. Furthermore, he quickly mentioned how many new narratives are being pushed by the media simultaneously, like the snake venom covid nonsense, the train station op, or the fake war, with him remarking that it is now, “psyop season.” What an apt expression. To those who haven’t been paying attention, the word psyop is short for psychological operation, the meaning of this term has become pretty broad. In essence, a psyop is the name given to any narrative orchestrated by governments and promulgated by mainstream media outlets, with said narratives having the power of shaping the consciousness of whole populations into that which is more conducive to the implementation of a nefarious agenda having origins far more ancient than many realize. As always, the best way to define something is by citing an example. The last two years have been a psychological operation, one in which governments have brought forth draconian civil control measures made effectual by the aggressive fearmongering of mainstream media news outlets. The result of this intentional instilling of terror into our societies is that people are now more willing to reject independent thought in favor of what the screen prescribes, and they have also been conditioned into accepting a reduction in their personal sovereignty. In summation, people have been brainwashed through fear so that they might consent to being further enslaved by the beast system (read Revelation 13). To get back on track here, all of these tall tales being told by black homosexuals on television are pre-fabricated, and intentionally designed to manipulate you into accepting some lie, or consenting to some harmful societal change. If you, dear reader, at all resonate with what I’m talking about, or your intuition tells you there’s truth to these words, congratulations, you’ve retained your God given capacity for critical thought. Owen is correct, it certainly is psyop season, but that doesn’t really mean much to people who realize what they are. After all, we know that these narratives are brought forth so that we might react to them emotionally and spread that negativity to others, so just do the opposite, and reply to the panicked tirades of the psyoped inoffensively, but disinterestedly. On that note, be sure not to “woke-rape.” (to borrow another term from Owen). The definition of this term is self-explanatory, use discretion when conversing with anyone, and let them set the conversational pace, if they talk about normie stuff, keep it about normie stuff, if they show a little conspiracy sympathy, work with the amount they give you. A lot of people make the mistake of talking about what they want to talk about, I’m telling you to shut your mouth and listen to others, and to respond only with that which is good and acceptable to the hearers. Let your words be wise, edifying, seasoned with salt and uplifting, with knowledge spoken in measure, with all meekness of wisdom and all prudence. Be in this world, but not of this world, and stop being a gentile and realize that the strength required to do this comes from asking God for it.

On the Logos

In the beginning there was Logos, and the Logos was with God, and the Logos was God. The Logos is the expression of what God is outwardly. God, eternally being who he is, makes himself comprehensible to us through immaterial realities which are rightly called attributes of his. Meaning, concepts (of which there is an endless list) such as justice, goodness, beauty, order, truth, virtue, and power are all things that we can recognize by their instantiations in temporal reality. In our life we see beautiful, just, and good things. What we are supposed to understand is that although these physical things can be said to have these attributes, the attributes themselves are not physical. Moreover, all such concepts, or transcendentals, originate and proceed forth from God himself, thus ultimately making them possessions of his. The Logos, being the mind of God, is the sum total of all these immaterial realities. As such, the Logos is God made visible. All of this is to suggest that God is in fact extremely close to us, and engages with temporal reality. So, when you see good things you are seeing God participating in those things. Hence, whenever you perceive order in seasonal cycles, in the invisible hand of economics, in the natural world, and all other such things, we are witnessing God’s providence. With this in mind, whenever humanity attempts to usurp the Lord’s authority over these matters, or interfere with them at all, the inevitable result is some sort of breakdown or imbalance. In other words, things are most good, most just, and most beautiful when God participates in them as much as possible. He who acknowledges this truth is then obligated to take the next step and consciously invite God to govern his life, for he has conceded that when something its unnaturally removed from God’s purview, it tends towards degeneration. Meaning, when a man is devoid of those traits that all men are supposed to possess, it is because he has chosen not to turn to the Source of them. This explains why those who are godly are found to be full of good qualities, such as: righteousness, self-control, patience, calmness, love, etc. In the end it seems people do evil things because they don’t ask God to make them good. Perhaps the refusal to acknowledge their own spiritual poverty is intentional, their choosing to maintain the delusion that one’s own effort is sufficient to attain a blessed and fulfilled life, regardless of how much their conscience screams in agony to the contrary. To restate, the Logos eternally proceeds forth from God to us, when we see a transcendental like goodness, we are seeing the Logos, we are seeing God made intelligible. This principle of God reaching out to us through the Logos had its ultimate culmination in the incarnation of the Logos as a man named Jesus Christ. Taking all of this together its quite clear that God is calling us to have a relationship with him, him even sending his only begotten Son to reconcile us to himself. All we have to do is accept God’s love, to embrace a relationship with him.

The Dining Set Generation

Dining sets. Yeah, dining sets. They suck, and they’re a symptom of the great philosophical illness that plagues the collective consciousness. I know what you’re thinking, some random blogger is diagnosing western society with a spiritual sickness on the basis of a table and matching set of chairs. You might think me mad now, but just you wait. To start off with, dining sets are pieces of wood assembled together with metal bolts and washers which are then sold at a condescendingly high markup to people who don’t need to buy them. We’re dealing with a luxury item whose lifecycle is as follows: unnecessary purchase, two-years of use, disposal or pitiful resale, repeat steps 1-3. In my life experience I have watched various loved ones purchase and replace dining sets with one another multiple times in rather quick succession. Instead of retaining this set of chairs and table for multiple decades at a time, I have watched them be thrown out, sold off, given away and replaced with identical ones in a seemingly cyclical manner. I’ve always wondered why people can’t deal with keeping one dining set over the course of their lives, then I realized something rather profound. The upper class is doing the equivalent of a toddler spending mommy’s money on Angry Birds power ups and gems. In app purchases for the dopamine hit that comes with the first ten seconds after attaining it. This income bracket is dominated by a segment of the population so thoroughly riddled with materialism that they relish the opportunity to consume away their wealth because of its resultant euphoric chemical response. Instead of paying their employees enough to support their family, or maybe giving money to their children so they can start a life without becoming wage slave, tax cattle, debt-pigs, they’re gonna hook themselves up with a rockin’ gray table and chairs that really matches the emptiness and sterility of their souls. Here’s the sum of the whole matter: materialism is an addiction, like porn and alcohol. Ten seconds of pleasure-hormone release from attaining novelty, and then the inevitable crash that comes with familiarity. Dear reader, whoever you are, objects, substances, sex, marriage, or even having children, will NEVER give you fulfillment. The only one who can ever fill that hole that every gentile has in their hearts is the one who made them. Yeah, its audacious but its correct, and everything about this world confirms it, Christianity is the right answer, and belief on Jesus Christ is the only way you will ever find contentment or peace. Other religions tie Godly peace to various things like: rigorous observance of tradition, denial of the existence of sin, imagining oneself to be a literal piece of God or whatever pretty but untrue doctrine that attracts members. Anyways, if ever there has been a generation of people so thoroughly distanced from God and so desperately anchored to this place, it’s the boomers. Their path has been consumption and degeneracy, and their fruits are resentful children and lots of national debt. To justify their leaving this plane of existence worse than how they found it, they had to champion a world view that omits God (scientism), and thus permits their excessive and sinful lifestyle. The dining set generation has been placed here by God to illustrate the folly of replacing God with riches, they are a living warning to everyone who would follow in their footsteps. Another thing, the more Godless you are, the more you fear death, in fact all actual Christians welcome death in a certain sense because they are so at peace with God that they’re ready to leave here and go to him. Point being, how at peace are the boomers with their passing? From where I’m standing they’re so utterly terrified by the concept that they’re waiting with baited breath on the commandments of their lab-coat-wearing gods, and treating their word as gospel, with all who question or resist being heretics. In other words, they’ve wholeheartedly embraced the current narrative, and all of its disproportionately harmful effects (ie: increased suicides, lost income, child mental trauma, etc.), because they’ve been told they’ll die if they don’t. In summation, the dining set is a symbol of materialism, materialism is a symptom of Godlessness, and the boomers are a largely Godless generation, a fact illustrated by their fear of death and failure to improve this world.

Nicky the Nihilist

Today I feel compelled to address the why of it all, the reason behind the “power elite’s” propagation of the heliocentric model, darwinism, and scientism in general. For those of you who would exclaim “why would they lie?” in a rather automatic and robotic manner, I want to tell you a little story about a man I want to call Nicky. I knew this guy since childhood, he was smart and charismatic, even more so than I actually. We attended the same private school for twelve years, and when we both entered the high school level, Nicky started to become less motivated, and more nihilistic, this is also when his weed addiction began. Further, he would routinely defy authorities, disrupt the classroom and neglect his studies. This is not to say that I was a saint or anything, I had my moments of foolishness, but I retained an air of politeness and diligence. After we both graduated, which he admitted was a miracle for him, I took a gap year and then went to university. During this two-year timeframe, my friend had went to California for art school and eventually dropped out, after that he never attempted to start up again as far as I can remember. Once my gap year was done and my first year of university had started up, I would come home on weekends and we would hang out at my place. With every new visit, my friend would arrive having marred his appearance in some fashion. For example, he would shave off half of his hair, and dye the remaining half red, and his choice of dress would be, chaotic, for lack of a better word. Even worse, he sometimes would come sporting new, self-applied prison tattoos, or professionally done ones when he had the money. Anyway, he, another friend of mine, and myself would have campfires, and they both would stay the night. These nights included the consumption of vile amounts of alcohol, and staying up until the morning hours. But it wasn’t all foolishness and indulgence, me and Nicky would sometimes get into pseudo-philosophical debates, with him being a firm nihilist and me having started to embrace a form of agnosticism that found an importance to this world and its inhabitants that I couldn’t quite characterize yet. Moreover, we would disagree harshly on things like abortion, euthanasia and what ought to happen to children born with mental disabilities. So here I was defending the importance of human life, while my friend would speak platitudes like, “we’re ants on a rock floating through space.” His point being that mankind, from his perspective, was the accidental product of chaos in a cold and black void with no purpose or meaning. Around the end of my first year at university my almost fifteen year friendship ended with him over text message. The straw that broke the camel’s back was me, the know-it-all little Ben Shapiroite I had become, dropping a needless fact slam on what weed does to the mind. My friend was sensitive, and dependent on the substance in question, my overly aggressive presentation finished the friendship off. To recap, my friend had started out a smarter and more well put together man than I, and when high school hit, he started to degenerate into a depressed and directionless husk of his former self. Meaning, high school/university is the time where the nihilistic scientism that passes for education is shoved down the throats of students more than ever before. I am convinced now, looking back at our arguments, that the core reason behind my friend’s descent was the lie that infects the current zeitgeist, you know, the one mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:11. It is rather convenient that all of science has tacitly declared war on God, and the fruits of its progress has been the depression and demoralization of the masses, rendering them broken, uninvested and compliant. Addiction, depression and suicide are all the result of internalizing principles of contradiction. To think, at the core of your being, you are alive, but you shouldn’t be, this is the fundamental premise behind the worldview students are forced to accept without alternative. Think about it, if this universe is composed of atoms and the void, no soul, no purpose, no God, if we are the accidental product of rocks hitting one another in the correct sequence repeatedly, we should be dead, we are born of the dead, the natural state of the very atoms that compose us is inert and barren, how can we then go about regarding any significance to what goes on here? More importantly, when playing by these rules your death is just a return to where our atoms started, in a black endless void alone for eternity. When people live with this contradiction as the bedrock for their world view, how can they be expected to live by any sort of morality or code, and not to live a life of self-medication and neutrality to everything? Why even resist authority when you’re gonna go back to the void forever in like three decades, if not sooner? Why would anyone ever want to demoralize the masses to the point of complete ignorance of their surroundings? Its not like there’s a clandestine cabal of ultra-rich families who operate through finance, media, government, industry, healthcare, energy and education that would have everything to gain from feeding their debt slaves and tax cattle a world view that induces indifference to everything and the embrace of unrestrained consumption to cope with its strain. That is crazy talk, its not like the entire world just put a mask on, locked itself up, and injected itself with experimental substances because a black rectangle told it to. I will say this much, I don’t know anyone who’s died from cold-flu19, but I’m pretty sure everyone I know is dying the slow death of Godlessness, and the lack of inherent significance to life that comes with it. So, when you ask me why the controllers would wish to instill nihilism into the minds of every living man and woman, remember my friend Nicky, and the effect this psychological torture disguised as education has had on the minds of those who have been subjected to it.

This Piece of Paper on My Face is Helping!

If you have a healthy relationship with Jesus, one based on more than the ramblings of a masked elderly homosexual that you bestow half of your attention upon every Sunday, you have already discerned the ominous deception surrounding the realm-wide response to cold-flu19. First of all, the virus has never been isolated, genetic material from an Asian man in Wuhan has, but never the virus singularly, apart from trillions of other fragments of genetic material. Point being, the PCR is simply matching the genetic material taken from you with that found in some Chinese man who had a cough from living in one of the most polluted cities on the plane (not a typo). Further, 99% of young people recover after testing positive, and 91-96% for old people. More importantly, the average amount of comorbidities (actual causes of death) found in people who tested positive on the PCR was four. That’s four actual reasons why they died. The worldwide death rate has increased by less than it has in previous years, demonstrating the illegality of every state of emergency declaration thus far. You’ve got 2% of the population who gets it, and 3% of that 2% die from it, and only 5% of that 3% of that 2% have died solely from this virus, which has never actually been isolated mind you. Not to mention, there has been a 98% decrease in flu cases over this period. Now, the asleep will frantically proclaim this drastic reduction to be the result of mask wearing and sanitizing. My response to the first mainstream media regurgitation would be as follows, its got the same nanometric size as every other coronavirus, an average of 100nm, masks would work equally on both. Secondly, disinfectants only kill things that can be killed, viruses are not alive, they’re inanimate pieces of RNA with a protein coat, manufactured by your cells so they can communicate with one another and to flush out heavy metals or dead tissue when signaled by fluctuations in climate. In summation, natural deaths have been given a new name to justify the indefinite confiscation of your freedom of movement, and bodily autonomy. The most personally persuading piece of evidence to this effect is my own life experience, with no one I know ever having heard about a young and healthy individual dying after testing positive, how does your experience line up with mine? Of course, in the end there’s no such thing as persuasion anymore, everyone who cares about the truth would have sought and found it by now. To those of you who read this and agree with me, I suggest you never disclose your opinion on this matter to anyone. Further, Jesus said, “seek and ye shall find,” meaning only give people your pearls when they seek them of you, no casting them before unthankful swine. In general, I’ve found in the multitude of words sin wanteth not, and it’s best to only speak when God has placed words in your mouth, for of him cometh the fruit of the lips. Again, the Spirit is right there with you, in tedious discussions about the latest case counts, try to remember there’s probably been more recoveries today than cases, and you’re in the valley of the shadow of death, where only God is truly righteous, ask for the strength to be silent, and to speak only those words which Christ would speak in your place.

Muh Works

Whenever I apply the meditation of my heart to discerning the requirements for salvation, I find myself always coming to the same conclusion. Every man will be rewarded according to his works. Now, on paper this seems like I’m advocating works salvation, and that the only way to Heaven is if you tapdance EXACTLY the way I tell you to, and if you backslide in your tapdancing God will not give you the requisite 10/10 score required for entry. Point being, there is no such thing as a work men can perform that can get them into heaven, except of course the work of God, which is believing on the one He sent. However, our works are not finished after having believed. In fact, the act of belief is the newborn babe-in-Christ’s very first work and is the means by which more are performed. Further, those who actually believe grow stronger, bolder and more zealous with every passing day, beginning with only a seed’s worth of Godliness and, with time, the same Godliness becoming a great mustard tree. In essence, works of faith and fruits of the Spirit are evidence, they are evidence of the faith required for salvation. There are many pharisees in the world who would agree with my perspective on this issue, but then go on to emphasize the importance of certain works, declaring their absence a grave token of certain damnation. In response, I would say that the pharisee knows nothing, and even if he does know something, he doesn’t know it well enough to take Christ’s place as judge. Meaning, the guidance of the Spirit is all any of us should hearken to. Endless prayer enables us to consciously perform the will of our Father. On that note, there are many in this world who would tell you there are specific things that you should be doing, and if you aren’t you’re backsliding or neglecting your responsibilities. Again, we all have our place and our function, and the only opinion we should ascribe importance to is God’s. So, if you find yourself in a situation where the crowd is expecting you to observe their traditions, meet their expectations, or even obey their “laws,” if prayer confirms that you must disobey, then do so. You should follow God’s direction in spite of man’s perception of you. Also, for all of those who glory in their vast array of works: God is the strength of your back, the cunning of your hands, the light of your eyes, the fire of your heart, and the source of every idea, inspiration, intuition and success you have ever received. You have earned nothing, you deserve nothing, and you have done nothing. The very acceptance of primary causality is a work in itself, and God, in his unknowable grace, will reward us according to our works, even though they are indirectly performed by Him. In essence, it seems you are saved as soon as you believe, after which you begin a new life, follow a new path, and work for a new Master.

Many Members, One Body

Lately I’ve been thinking about the effect BB has had on the Bears, and the journey he has taken all of us on. Owen has been gifted with masterful rhetorical skill, higher than average intelligence, and the will required to use them both in front of large groups of people. These qualities amount to a man who was factory made to remove the many veils of deceit which have covered our eyes for so long. Three notable instances of this are: transgender children, the moon landing, and the shape (flat) of the earth itself. At each step of the way he faced ostracism and social shame, with each sacred cow slain he was opening minds but also committing the modern equivalent of martyrdom. Instead of him falling into greater and greater ruin he was blessed, being rewarded for his self-sacrifice. His story itself is an illustration of God testing and rewarding his faithful, a concept which is littered all over the bible. In our eyes it is living proof that God does not cast away those who pursue and cleave to him. This man has lived, and daily continues to live, the faith. I understand some people might be grumpy that he doesn’t see things from their theological perspective, but I call you to consider the function our God has placed him here to perform. This man is a sledgehammer wielded by God to devastate the various unquestioned beliefs that have clouded our minds for so long. The truths that he expounds in his blunt but compelling style result in our being forcefully reoriented towards the generally correct answer. From there we are free to find truth in a more specific sense within the context of the general philosophical adjustment effected by him. That being said, many do perceive that he is in error when it comes to the Trinity, my response to them again would be to look at the effect his attacks on the Trinity have caused. I will speak for myself, I have never been more emboldened and motivated to establish my understanding of the Trinity than I have when Owen attacks it. My heart is set ablaze, I read the bible, I read various commentaries, and most importantly, I ask God to give me the right answer. The revelation I have received from my pursuit of this truth has strengthened my faith, and has allowed me to read the bible and pray with greater understanding. There is a rather high chance that God has withheld this from him so that we might be vexed in our spirit by his words and motivated to enrich our knowledge of God. In fact, if you Trinitarians (notice I don’t include myself with you even though I agree with you) truly believe in revelation, and that God gives downloads and firmware updates to those that ask him, you should acquiesce to God’s will on this matter. Either way, this man is a relentless contender for the truth, a liver of the faith which has been coopted by hypocrites for too long, and most importantly, your brother in Christ.

Romans 14:4, “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.”

“I Don’t Wanna Get All Biblical.”

I have finished watching episode 1127 of Owen Benjamin’s livestream and one small thing he said stuck with me. This is a direct quote, “I’m not gonna get all biblical.” He said this meaning that he did not wish to discuss interpretations of scripture on stream. I accept that he might not be comfortable with disclosing his understanding of various passages of God’s word, but it seemed like he was doing it for the audience’s sake. My problem with this is he made it quite clear that he detested the concept of one being controlled by one’s own audience. I will pause here and state bluntly that I may have derived a completely incorrect meaning from these words, if so I apologize. Does he want to discuss bible verses on stream, but is holding himself back out of consideration for his audience? If this is true my response to him, and to all of my brethren in Christ who share these sentiments in their own lives is this: “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:15-16 (KJV of course) . These two passages should be a proverb held close to the hearts of every disciple, its one of the reasons I’ve taken the moniker “Zealous Bear.” So, if you have it in your heart to perform any godly work, but are holding back so as to cater to your audience, remember these words. That being said, I know the Big Bear’s past, he’s a stand up comedian who has taken real risks in speaking the words he has on stage in front of whole crowds. Meaning, his track record shows quite clearly that Owen is not afraid of speaking out about things. However, God’s word is different. It is powerful, challenging and grave. Owen has the guts to come out publicly as a flat earther and yet he takes steps to avoid discussion of specific passages of the bible. Another note to remember however is this, no disciple should evangelize of their own will, it should be something they feel an internal compulsion by the Spirit to perform. I have learned the hard way that not all times are the right time to quote the bible, and that God sets up the perfect times and situations organically for the disciple to speak the words that he’s supposed to. The point is that one should use their inner voice and pray constantly, pray for a response, pray for the correct hand movements to get your keys out of your pocket, pray over EVERY obstacle in your life. As a result, you will be allowing God’s will to truly reign in you, because the bible shows quite clearly that men trying to fulfil the righteousness of God is futile. The tough and true lesson is that men need the direction of God in order to obey God, hence the need for faith. This tangent is pertinent to the current topic in the following way, Owen, if you want, if prayer confirms this is acceptable in God’s sight, and if you ever read this, set aside thirty seconds a stream to discuss a bible verse of your choosing. The most likely response to all of this would be the following, “but he’s a comedian, not a pastor.” My response would be this, he’s also a Christian with a large Christian following. After all, he is very tolerant, inclusive, accepting, permissive, lenient, pro-diversity and any other irritating synonym when it comes to cosmologies. If he perceives the supremacy of Christianity, and he must if he calls himself a Christian, give us thirty seconds a stream, and I wanna hear chapter and verse codes.
